Ned M. Cleland, PhD, PE
With more than 47 years of professional experience, Dr. Cleland brings expertise in precast, prestressed design, detailing and construction. Dr. Cleland is a leader in the area of earthquake design of precast, prestressed concrete structures and has co-authored the 1st and 2nd edition of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) Seismic Design Manual, alongside Dr. S.K. Ghosh. Dr. Cleland currently serves as chairman of the PCI Design Standard committee, working in cooperation with ACI, to develop a new standard for the design of precast, prestressed concrete, ACI/PCI 319.
