Roksana (Roxy) Taghizadeh, PE, FPCI, has been recognized with the 2025 Irwin J. Speyer Young Professional Engineer Award from the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI). This award recognizes engineers who have made significant contributions to PCI early in their careers and who demonstrate the personal and professional qualities to continue advancing the precast concrete industry.
Roxy has been a dedicated contributor to the precast concrete industry since 2007 and has been an active PCI member since 2013. She completed the Leadership PCI program in 2015 and has since taken on influential roles across several committees, including the Data Center Task Group, Design Standards, Industry Handbook, and Professional Members Committees. She also founded and previously chaired the PCI Industry Diversity Committee. Beyond committee work, Roxy has been closely involved with the PCI Foundation and its local studios and has served as a judge for the PCI Design Awards. In 2025, Roxy was named a PCI Fellow, becoming the youngest recipient in PCI history.
With more than 18 years of experience, Roxy is a subject matter expert in precast, prestressed design, detailing, and construction. She leads AG&E’s Integrated Precast, Prestressed Concrete Design sector.
