Engineer Spotlight: Murilo Santos

🎉 It’s Engineers Week and we want to recognize and celebrate our structural engineers who make AG&E a successful company.

Today’s Engineer Spotlight is Murilo Santos, Project Engineer. Leading our newest office in Brazil, Murilo is full of energy and always ready to get to work. His enthusiasm is contagious, motivating those around him and bringing positive vibes to the workplace. He consistently inspires coworkers, peers, and supervisors with his drive and passion.

Engineering has always been a part of Murilo’s life. Inspired by his father, who is also an engineer, Murilo is well-versed in “gambiarra,” which is a Portuguese word for improvised solutions to challenging situations. It is no surprise that Murilo thrives on problem-solving, always looking for creative ways to make every project unique.

In his spare time, Murilo loves spending time with his kids, Benjamin and Gabriel, and his awesome dog, Zara. For warmer-weather getaways, he highly recommends Salinopolis in Brazil – home to the best beach in the world (in his opinion!). Next on his bucket list is seeing the magic of the Northern Lights.
