Executive Principal, Chief Strategy Officer
Al is a seasoned engineering executive with over 45 years of experience designing buildings worldwide and more than 30 years serving as an officer, director, and principal in the A/E/C industry. He possesses an eclectic structural engineering background and is knowledgeable in a myriad of building types and structural systems. Al also excels in crafting and implementing firm-wide strategic business initiatives and leading change management.
Al has managed single and multi-disciplinary regional engineering offices for a major A/E firm in Chicago, Illinois, including structural, MEP, and fire protection divisions. He has experience leading teams of design professionals through large-scale projects from concept through design, construction, quality, and problem resolution. During his career, Al has served as coach and mentor to motivate, teach, and guide his staff through project completion, and provide advice on personal goal-setting and professional development.
Through strategic visioning and planning, Al has successfully implemented initiatives to develop new business opportunities. As a member of the AG&E’s Executive Leadership Team, Al oversees the firm’s long-term direction and growth, as well as targeted strategies in alignment with the firm’s short-term strategic plan.
Associate Principal
Andrew has over 21 years of experience in structural engineering. His project experience includes mid to high-rise residential and office buildings, parking garages, mission critical data centers, and bridges. He believes quality of models and construction documents are the key to a successful project. He implements the quality control standards throughout the firm in both the level of development and the quality of our construction documents.
Associate Principal, Director of Business Development
Anna brings creative insights into relationship building and company outreach and is passionate about development, design, and placemaking. In her business development role, she combines enthusiasm and strategy with an extensive network of professionals in real estate, development, architecture, engineering, and construction. As the saying goes, Anna rarely meets a stranger.
Born and raised in East Dallas, Texas, Anna is a fan of lively banter, the outdoors, and exploring her hometown and beyond. She participates in multiple non-profit and volunteer organizations, both in and out of the industry. Anna is known to foster rescue dogs with Dallas DogRRR and is active in The Real Estate Council, ULI North Texas, and AIA Dallas.
Principal
With more than 26 years of structural design experience, Byron has overseen design and documentation for a wide range of construction projects. Since moving to Dallas in 1994, he has been involved in the design of several building types including healthcare, mid and high-rise residential, aviation, sports facilities, office and corporate campuses, education, mission critical, mixed-use, warehouse, and parking structures. Prior to moving to Dallas, he conducted research of wind loads on structures while serving as manager of a research facility at Texas Tech University. Byron’s diverse structural experience enables him to effectively manage large and complex projects through the design process.
Principal, Blast Engineering
Chuck has 35 years of experience in blast resistant structural design and explosion effects. He graduated from Catholic University of America and Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in civil engineering respectively. He spent one year in the U.S. Peace Corps and then started his engineering career at the Texas Highway Department. Chuck first started doing blast resistant design at Southwest Research Institute (SwRI)in San Antonio in the late 1980s and that led to many blast resistant design projects, blast testing projects, and projects to develop computer programs for explosion effects and blast resistant structural design. While working at SwRI, Chuck also completed his Ph.D. in structural engineering at the University of Texas in Austin. He has worked with several consulting engineering companies over the last 25 years that specialize in blast resistant design.

With more than 18 years of professional experience as a structural engineer, Cody has developed a focused practice in mission critical, healthcare, education, corporate, and industrial projects across the nation. He has a passion for design and believes that collaboration is the key to a successful project. Leading all projects from kickoff to completion, Cody drives communication and facilitates collaboration between team members. He and his team of structural engineers and BIM experts stand ready to tackle any project regardless of complexity.
Associate Principal
Hannah has over 8 years of professional structural engineering experience. She specializes in education, healthcare, municipal and corporate commercial type structures. She is a driven and diligent engineer with exceptional problem-solving skills to address unique challenges. Her passion and attention to detail benefit the design team in producing a successful project, accomplishing the client’s vision, and fulfilling the project owner’s needs. Hannah holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering, from Southern Methodist University. While at SMU she was a NCAA Division I student athlete on the Women’s Rowing Team.
Principal, Chief Financial Officer
As Finance Director, Holly is responsible for the firm’s external financial reporting, corporate accounting, budgeting and internal controls. A leader in strategic planning, market intelligence and business analysis, Holly is a lifelong learner with more than 20 years of professional accounting and finance experience in several industries, including Real Estate, Construction and Oil & Gas. At AG&E-SE, she is focused on working with the executive team to develop a strategic vision and to enhance the budgeting process as the company prepares for future growth.
Holly has an extensive business systems background and chose a career in accounting because she understands the vital connection between financial results and business decision-making. Her reporting skills, as well as her expertise in cultivating strong relationships and inspiring teamwork & collaboration at all levels of the organization play a major role in her professional success. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Structural Vibrations Analyst
Dr. Jay Lamb has over 35 years of wide-ranging experience in vibration testing, measurement, and analysis for the medical, mission critical, civil, federal, and aerospace industries. As the lead structural dynamics analyst for AG&E, Dr. Lamb performs site vibration and acoustic evaluations for vibration-sensitive medical, manufacturing, and research facilities. He develops, designs, and tests vibration mitigation systems such as vibration isolation systems and tuned mass dampers. Another key area of work is the identification of the sources of vibration that interfere with sensitive equipment operation, cause mechanical wear, or discomfort for people working in the space. Dr. Lamb served as supervisor for the Structures and Dynamics Section at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and taught courses in Vibrations and Dynamics for The Johns Hopkins University for more than 10 years.

With over 19 years of structural design experience, Jason has worked on a wide variety of projects in various market sectors including mission critical, education, mixed-use, retail, athletics facilities, mid and high-rise residential, infrastructure, parking structures, and healthcare. Jason’s diverse structural experience and effective communication enable him to manage his structural design team to meet the client’s goals and project expectations.
Associate Principal
Casey brings 21 years of experience in construction, structural engineering, and project management. As a team lead overseeing engineers and technicians, he has led design work of high/mid-rise residential, educational, municipal, aviation, hotel, retail, and parking structures for public and private projects. Casey has extensive experience in structural condition assessments, analysis, rehabilitation, and renovation of existing structures. He also specializes in structural engineering service for outage support at industrial facilities such as lignite plants, gas plants, mines, and central utility plants. Casey leads client interaction for facility group in the office.
Associate Principal
Keith has over 18 years of structural drafting and BIM model development experience; certified by American Design Drafting Association (ADDA). His project experience includes structural design, steel detailing, and reinforcing steel detailing for projects involving medical, education, office, and mission critical functions. He believes that starting the coordination process early and keeping open communication throughout the duration of the project are key components for a successful outcome.
Principal, Director of Advanced Design Technology
Marcello has over 24 years of experience in structural engineering design and in the application of advanced technology in the A/E/C industry. Marcello’s experience encompasses a diverse array of public and private projects including the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, the Ray and Maria Stata Technology Center at MIT, and the Tom Bradley International Terminal Expansion at LAX. He is also a top-rated speaker at various A/E/C conferences around the world and a top-rated author.
Marcello is a licensed Civil and Structural Engineer and received his BSCE and MSCE from the University of Nevada, Reno. He is always thinking of out of the box solutions to help other teams on projects even if it does not include structural engineering related tasks.
Executive Principal, Director Specialty Precast Engineering
With more than 47 years of professional experience, Dr. Cleland brings expertise in precast, prestressed design, detailing and construction. He has worked with advanced methods of system analysis for earthquakes, including nonlinear pushover and nonlinear time-history analysis of precast structures. Dr. Cleland has also worked on staged construction analysis for post-tensioned/precast frames. He has conducted condition assessments of several concrete structures and has investigated structural failures in precast concrete construction.
Dr. Cleland is a leader in the area of earthquake design of precast, prestressed concrete structures and has co-authored the 1st and 2nd edition of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) Seismic Design Manual, alongside Dr. S.K. Ghosh. Dr. Cleland currently serves as chairman of the PCI Design Standard committee, working in cooperation with ACI, to develop a new standard for the design of precast, prestressed concrete, ACI/PCI 319. He is also an active member of the American Concrete Institute Committee 318. Dr. Cleland was named a Titan of the Precast Industry in 2014, he received PCI’s Medal of Honor in 2019, and was the recipient of the Normal L. Scott Professional Engineer award in 2021.

With over 10 years of experience practicing as a structural engineer, Nick has successfully managed teams to complete structural design and evaluation services for over 32 million square feet of new construction and renovation projects across 25 US states and Canadian provinces. Nick has designed, managed, and consulted on over 100 unique projects throughout the country in various market sectors including mid and high-rise residential, retail mixed-use, hospitality, K-12 and higher education, healthcare, mission critical, commercial office, parking structures, and municipal structures. Having developed structural expertise through involvement with numerous high seismic and high wind projects to achieve a variety of architectural forms. Nick shows proficiency in employing a diverse range of structural systems and construction methods. As the Associate Principal and Studio Manager of AG&E’s Houston office, Nick is actively involved in projects from start to finish, from initial concept phase and selection of structural systems and materials, to construction document production, to construction administration and project closeout.

With a diverse professional background spanning various industries, Nina excels in multi-faceted project management and technology. She obtained her Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University. Nina is excited to integrate her expertise in program management and structural engineering with the intricate mission critical demands of high-tech data centers that are becoming extremely important in the new AI world order.

Roxy has more than 15 years of experience in the Precast, Prestressed Concrete industry. Throughout her career, Roxy has helped develop company-wide design standards and trained engineering staff, while also managing multiple projects. Roxy joined the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) in 2012 after completing the one-year leadership program (LPCI). In 2017, Roxy created the PCI Industry Diversity Committee along with other PCI colleagues. She served as chair of this committee for 3 years. Roxy is currently a voting member of PCI Design Handbook, PCI Design Standards, and LPCI Alumni Committees.
President, Chief Executive Officer
As a founding member of AG&E, Sanjay brings over three decades of experience as a structural engineer. His leadership and expertise in the design and construction industries have propelled the growth of the company into one of the largest structural engineering firms in the state of Texas. Sanjay is licensed in more than 30 states and has led the structural design of numerous projects in different market sectors including healthcare, municipal, education, mission critical, industrial, corporate, parking structures, and aviation, as well as structural forensics and full-scale load tests. Sanjay is actively involved in the development process of each project and closely monitors design execution and completion. He is also committed to training and coaching junior engineers, team building, and strategic corporate planning.

Director of Specialty Structural Steel Design and Detailing
W. Scott Goodrich (Scotty) brings over 40 years of professional experience to AG&E. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University, he worked for a large general contractor in the bridge division. During his tenure, he spent two years in Saudi Arabia for construction of the King Faisal Hospital. His duties began as Assistant Superintendent in charge of concrete operations, then General Superintendent of the entire project. After his overseas return, he began working at a structural engineering firm while pursuing his master’s degree.
In 1992, Scotty formed a construction materials testing and inspection laboratory, Goodrich Testing & Engineering (GT&E). All aspects of testing and inspection were under his direction and supervision, including structural steel, concrete, concrete reinforcement and post-tensioning, and soils. After selling GT&E, Scotty founded Structural Detailing, LLC (SDLLC), a preeminent firm that performs structural steel detailing, connection design, structural engineering design, fast-track construction coordination with structural steel, and BIM coordination.
Scotty's extensive and diverse experience has proven to be the most valuable asset to his clients. His professional expertise combined with the understanding of owner, contractor, and design team concerns has established his reputation for excellence and cost efficiency.

Stephen (Steve) has more than 52 years of experience designing a variety of structural systems and building types. Steve is an integral part of the firm’s structural design leadership team and manages our Dallas and San Antonio offices. He has a commitment to design creativity, cost efficiency, technical proficiency, schedule adherence, and personal service, which is evident in every project he touches.
Prior to joining AG&E, Steve founded his own structural design practice, Campbell & Associates Consulting Engineers, Inc. (CACE), in 1979, where he provided design services for over 70-million square feet of educational, healthcare, institutional, civic, federal and commercial building projects in over 30 states. Steve is one of the founders, a charter member, and the first president of the Structural Engineers Association of Texas. In 2006, he received their Wilbur C. Schoeller Award for his service to the structural engineering profession. He also sits on the Advisory Board of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department of Southern Methodist University.

Steve has more than 35 years of experience in the structural engineering field. He is the lead structural designer for numerous iconic and landmark structures across the United States and in Europe for high-rise buildings, hospitals, museums, sports arenas, convention centers, airport expansions, seismic retrofits, as well as structures using glass as the primary structural system. Steve has distinguished himself nationally and internationally with award-winning designs and innovative first-time structural solutions. The many awards Steve has received throughout his career are a result of his unique and bold solutions to complex geometries and loadings without compromising the architectural or functional intent of the structures. Steve is licensed to practice structural engineering in all 50 states.
