🎉 We are excited to continue our Engineer Spotlights as we celebrate Engineers Week!
Today’s Engineer Spotlight is Roksana (Roxy) Taghizadeh, Principal. With more than 18 years of experience, she is a subject matter expert in precast, prestressed design, detailing, and construction. Roxy was recently named a PCI Fellow for her outstanding contributions and service to the precast concrete industry. Â
One of Roxy’s favorite projects is a parking structure in Miami’s art district. She designed the panels with intricate honeycomb shapes and open spaces, balancing the aesthetics with the need to withstand Category 5 hurricane loading. If she weren’t an engineer, Roxy could see herself as a farmer, embracing a different way of life.
Outside of engineering, she enjoys cycling, painting, and skiing. With a passion for travel, Roxy hopes to visit as many new countries as possible. She is excited to check Portugal off her list this June.
