The acquisition expands our capacity to deliver complex, fast-moving projects across the data center, advanced manufacturing, and aviation markets.

AG&E Associates, LLC (AG&E), the largest structural engineering firm in the United States focused on data centers, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Hunt & Joiner, Inc. (Hunt & Joiner), a respected structural engineering firm founded in 1957. The acquisition brings nearly seven decades of engineering experience and a talented team to AG&E, expanding the firm’s capacity to deliver increasingly complex, fast-moving projects.

Hunt & Joiner has built a longstanding reputation for creative, cost-effective engineering solutions and lasting client relationships. Its diverse portfolio spans industrial, manufacturing, and modular storage systems. As part of the acquisition, AG&E welcomes Steve Dial, PE, President of Hunt & Joiner, to the leadership team as Managing Principal.

“Bringing our firms together is a full-circle moment and a special privilege for me,” said Sanjay Agrawal, PE, SE, Founder and CEO of AG&E. “I began my structural engineering career at Hunt & Joiner, where I spent nearly 10 years learning from Steve Dial. Those lessons helped pave the way for AG&E to grow into one of the largest structural engineering firms in the country. Hunt & Joiner’s talent, expertise, and reputation align exceptionally well with the strong foundation and momentum we’ve established, and I’m proud to welcome the team to AG&E.”

The Hunt & Joiner team brings extensive technical knowledge and complementary strengths that will enhance AG&E’s ability to serve clients in key data center, advanced manufacturing, and aviation markets. Like AG&E, Hunt & Joiner has a long track record of responsive service and close coordination with architects, contractors, and owners. Bringing the teams together creates new opportunities for collaboration and innovation.

“We are pleased to be joining the team at AG&E,” said Steve Dial, PE. “We look forward to helping deliver innovative structural solutions for our clients and contributing to AG&E’s continued growth and prosperity.”

Bringing Hunt & Joiner into AG&E builds on the firm’s technical expertise and strengthens its structural and integrated specialty engineering services for clients across the United States and beyond.

“We are excited about Hunt & Joiner joining AG&E,” said Steven C. Ball, PE, SE, President of AG&E. “They have many experienced and highly respected engineers and BIM specialists whose expertise aligns well with our focus on data centers. Adding their team will further elevate AG&E’s position in this market.”

This acquisition marks the latest milestone in AG&E’s continued growth. It follows the firm’s 2026 acquisitions of ACME Steel Detailing in Salt Lake City and United Structural Design in Phoenix and Las Vegas.
