Roksana (Roxy) Taghizadeh, PE, FPCI received the PCI Fellow award at the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) Convention earlier this month. This award recognizes individuals who have embraced the values of the institute and have provided outstanding contributions and service to the precast concrete industry.

Joining the precast concrete industry in 2007 and PCI in 2013, Roxy has been an active member. After participating in Leadership PCI in 2015, she joined several PCI committees and quickly gained a reputation for being a proactive champion for cutting-edge initiatives. One of her first efforts was to encourage PCI to take a leadership role in promoting diversity in the precast concrete industry. Her passion for this cause led her to become the Diversity Committee’s initial chair. Similarly, she recently identified the need for a PCI committee dedicated to the design of data centers. Once the Technical Activities Council (TAC) approved the proposal, Roxy became the first chair of the new Data Center Task Group.

“Roxy is very knowledgeable and when she commits to helping, she jumps in with both feet,” said a leader of PCI’s Technical Activities Council.

Roxy currently serves on the Leadership PCI, Design Standards, Industry Handbook, and Professional Member committees. Previously, she was a member of the Joints and Connections, Insulated Wall Panels, and Student Education committees. With her leadership, knowledge, and work ethic, Roxy continues to shape the precast concrete industry.

With more than 18 years of experience, Roxy is a subject matter expert in precast, prestressed design, detailing, and construction. She leads AG&E’s Integrated Precast, Prestressed Concrete Design sector.

Congratulations to Roxy on this professional and personal milestone!
