With over 25 years of experience in structural engineering design and the application of advanced technology in the A/E/C industry, Marcello is always thinking of out-of-the-box solutions, supporting other project teams beyond structural engineering tasks.
“In today’s technological environment, firms must have the ability to streamline their workflows and allow disparate software programs to communicate and exchange data. Marcello is a pioneer in both arenas,” said Al Baysek, PE, SE, Executive Principal and CSO of AG&E. “We are extremely fortunate to have Marcello continue to lead our firm into the world of computational design and artificial intelligence. Marcello’s portfolio encompasses a diverse array of public and private projects including the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, the Tom Bradley International Terminal Expansion at LAX, and The Sphere in Las Vegas.
“While working on the Tom Bradley International Terminal Expansion at LAX, Marcello created and implemented groundbreaking technology that both modeled the iconic roof structure and animated operational equipment, which enabled the Airport Authority to make critical decisions,” said Steven C. Ball, PE, SE, Executive Principal at AG&E. “I’ve had the privilege of knowing Marcello since 2008. We have worked together on many challenging projects where Marcello’s development of first-use technology was critical to the success of the project.
